Angling for wild fish is fun. Try outwitting the wily 'Asla' or tempting the mighty 'Mahsheer'; catches over 40 kgs have been reported. A great souvenir to take home is a permit from the Fisheries Department.

Dzongri
Dzongri is reputed to be amongst the best high altitude trekking areas of the world. Knee to chin, through dense tropical forest, is how you will walk till you reach Tsoka. Thereafter the true Alpine region begins. Here the horizon is Khangchendzongna, Pandim, Kabru, and Narsing . Above the meadows of Dzongri is the unique Chorten at Dablakhang from where you can see the true snow fields and glaciers that never melt. The mountains at their best - harsh, yet beautiful !
