Tashi View Point ( 9 Km. from Tashi Delek )
On clear days, one of the best views in the world of the perpetually snow capped peaks of Khangchendzongna, Siniolchu, Simvo, Talung, Kabru, Pandim, Narsing, Kokthang & Pau Hunri can be seen. At sunrise the colours play on the mountains brilliantly and sunset is also great.
 
 
 
   
Hanuman Tok ( 8 Km. from Tashi Delek )
The legend goes that all wishes made at this temple are granted. From here the views are superb making this a splendid photography point. A short walk away is Lukshyama where stupas have been erected in memory of Sikkim's Royal Family who have passed on.
 
 
 
Ganesh Tok ( 7 Km. from Tashi Delek )
For a breathtaking view of the town of Gangtok sprawled over a hill top. On your right hand side you can also see the Himalayan range in all it's glory. If you are up for it come here at sunrise to get a mersmizing view of the mountains changing color as the sun rises.
 
 
 
   
Bul Buley ( 9 Km. from Tashi Delek )
Encompassing an area of 205 hectares is the new Himalayan Zoological Park which houses wild life in semi natural habitat. The views from here are reminiscent of Chinese paintings with nearby hills erupting out of the clouds and misty mountains shimmering in the distance.
 
 
 
Rang Rang
A Bailey suspension bridge spans the chasm here and is attributed to be the highest of its kind in Asia. Below you can see the remains of the 'Jhorlunga' an ingenious bamboo bridge built by the Lepchas to cross the raging torrents.
