Nathu La ( 56 Km. from Tashi Delek )
Domestic Tourists are now permitted to visit this pass at an altitude of 14200 ft. It is the highest point tourists may visit without trekking. All are advised to wear warm clothes and wind-cheaters as the place is infamous for sudden change in weather. One can peek into Tibet from here and admire the view of the plains and foothills on the Indian side.

Yoksum
Yoksum nestled in the lap of the mighty Khangchendzongna is where the first Chogyal of Sikkim was crowned. The stone throne found above the Kathok Lake and in the shadow of the Norbu Gang Chorten, still stands. This is the last motorable point beyond which you must walk.
 
 
Kabi Lungtsok ( 20 Km. from Tashi Delek )
At this historical site in ancient times the Lepchas and Bhutias swore a blood oath to live as brothers and sealed the pact in front of Khangchendzongna which stood as witness. As the legend goes the pact will remain as long as Khangchendzongna stands.
